This live-action hybrid absolutely deserved to see the light of day, fittingly mirroring the resilient, never-quit attitude of its silent protagonist, Wile E. Coyote.

Most of the film is carried on the back of Milly Alcock's red cape thanks to her sarcastic exuberance and reluctant empathy.

The film’s remarkably stylish retro-futuristic aesthetic mixed with the palpable familial chemistry of the core cast upgrade what could have been a by-the-numbers Fantastic Four/Galactus origin story.

If this is truly the end for the icon as Ethan Hunt, it could’ve been worse, but a cleaner story with a shorter runtime could’ve elevated the incredible stunt sequences rather than relying on them to shoulder the weight of the film.
