Despite having one of the great werewolf carnage sequences you may have ever seen, the rest of the film flounders from one new creature/threat to the next with none of the characters generating any interest beyond reacting to or causing said carnage.

The cult of this moron should watch all four hours of this film and maybe learn something that many of us have known for years like what his actual engineering skills are and just how good that Tesla autopilot feature actually is.

Somehow the new Street Fighter makes the Mortal Kombat films look like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and some of the performances make us miss Chris Klein as Nash.

Universal did Savage a disservice in putting the stink of doubt on it by not screening it for critics because this is a well-made, occasionally inventive, scary and ultimately interesting film about a child’s insecurity about their parents' well-being.

Sorkin still needs a director other than himself to visually add to the natural rhythm of his words. But those words and a few key performances from Mikey Madison and Bill Burr are enough to make this a follow-up worth listening to.

Colleen Hoover’s attempt at a Gone Girl narrative when not being dull is setting you up for a series of even more ridiculous twists, none of which tie together with any competency even by the craziest standards of trashy Housemaid-like thrillers.

The kind of bad movie that only talented people seem to make. Loud comedy without wit so get louder and remind people this is satire while an ironic meta commentary looms suggesting Inarritu’s story would have been better told starting at the end.

Performances by Pattinson, Wever & Gisondo strike the precise balance for the material that doesn’t always work with Oppenheim’s approach in a film that works as a window rather than the more encompassing legacy attached in David Osit’s doc, Predators.

You get wolves and even a bear from better survival tales like The Grey and The Edge. Yes, you do get a good dog too but it all amounts to a remarkably underwhelming film about a guy with supplies who already likes the wilderness before crashing there.
